Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Sal Frelick keeps a full schedule, splitting his time between baseball and contributing to the local community.
The Milwaukee Brewers’ 2026 spring training will feature a 29-game Cactus League schedule.Milwaukee will host Team Great Britain on March 3 as it prepares for the World Baseball Classic.The team will conclude its preseason with two exhibition games against the Cincinnati Reds in Milwaukee.
A 29-game Cactus League schedule, a game against a World Baseball Classic hopeful, two Spring Breakout games and two exhibition games against the Cincinnati Reds at American Family Field will highlight the Milwaukee Brewers‘ 2026 spring training experience, the team announced Wednesday, Nov. 5.
The Brewers will host the Cleveland Guardians at American Family Fields of Phoenix on Feb. 21 in their Cactus League opener, one of 15 home games and 14 road games on the slate.
Milwaukee’s spring home games will start at 2:10 p.m. CT through March 7 then 3:10 CT starting March 8, aside from an 8:10 p.m. CT start March 19 against the Texas Rangers.
The Brewers are scheduled to face each Cactus League team once at home and on the road, with split-squad games on Feb. 22 against the Kansas City Royals at home and the Chicago White Sox on the road, and March 18 against the Los Angeles Angels at home and the Seattle Mariners on the road.
On March 3, Milwaukee will host Team Great Britain as that team tunes up for the upcoming World Baseball Classic.
In addition, Major League Baseball’s third annual Spring Breakout – games highlighting top prospects from each organization – will now encompass two days, with the Brewers hosting Seattle’s minor-leaguers March 20 and then traveling to face the A’s on March 22.
The Brewers also host the Chicago Cubs on March 22 in their spring finale, then will head back to Milwaukee for a pair of exhibition games against the Reds that will serve as tuneups for opening day on March 26.
The Brewers will host the Reds at 6:40 p.m. March 23 and 4:10 p.m. March 24.
