Cody Laweryson was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday, ending his tenure with Minnesota. The 27-year-old right-hander made his MLB debut last September. (Aaron Gleeman)
Angels claimed right-hander Cody Laweryson off waivers from the Twins.
Laweryson was drafted by the Twins in 2019 and made his MLB debut in September, throwing 7 2/3 innings out of the bullpen.
Expect more 40-man roster housecleaning for the Twins in the coming days.
