Carroll and Perdomo captured their first Silver Slugger awards, while Marte earned his second in back-to-back seasons. All three players were pivotal to the team’s success as the Diamondbacks fought for a playoff spot until the final days of the season.
The trio’s wins highlight the team’s growing recognition in mainstream sports, as the Diamondbacks return to the spotlight for their individual achievements this year. Carroll’s steady rise since his rookie campaign, Perdomo’s breakout season and Marte’s veteran contributions signal the team’s consistency on the offensive side of the ball.

As Arizona rises as an offensive powerhouse in Major League Baseball, the team has plenty to build on. The Diamondbacks may not be looking for power bats this offseason, but have confirmed they’ll be focusing on starting pitching, which was a weakness this past year.

With three power bats of their own, the D-backs can celebrate their achievements while preparing to add the pitching depth needed to take the team to the next level.
