The dust has barely settled on the 2025 MLB season, and already the Tampa Bay Rays are preparing for 2026. The team announced its spring training schedule for February and March of 2026.

All told, the Rays will play 14 games in their home stadium, Port Charlotte’s Charlotte Sports Park (2300 El Jobean Rd). One of the fun additions to this year’s lineup is a game against the Netherlands national team on Wednesday, March 4, ahead of the 2026 World Baseball Classic. It’s a unique opportunity for those in the Tampa Bay Area to catch a European baseball team.

The full spring slate includes 30 games in the Grapefruit League against other MLB teams, plus the Netherlands exhibition, and the third annual Spring Breakout Game against the New York Mets prospects in Port St. Lucie.

Ticket sales have not yet begun and game times will be announced closer to the start of spring training.

This will be the first spring training under new ownership for the Rays. It will provide a window into the prospects the new regime values, as well as a look into which members of the 2025 team will return to battle for their spots. The Rays will return to Tropicana Field in April for the regular season for their first games in St. Pete since the 2024 regular season.
