KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to impact several home games for the Kansas City Royals.
On Monday, Nov. 10, the Royals released their complete 2026 home game times, with two series directly affected by the World Cup at the Truman Sports Complex.
The most significant impacts will affect games in June and July:

The team is expected to begin the regular season with a 3-game road series in Atlanta between March 26 and 29.

The 2026 World Cup marks the first time Kansas City is set to host the international soccer tournament. The Truman Sports Complex, which houses both Kauffman and Arrowhead Stadiums, will serve as a venue.
Royals fans can access early ticket sales through the team’s community texting platform. If interested in single-game tickets, text “ROYALS” to 816-6-ROYALS before Nov. 13.
On Thursday morning, fans should receive a special code to purchase tickets ahead of the general public.
The team emphasized that all game times remain subject to change as logistics are finalized.
The complete 2026 schedule was initially released in August, with Monday’s announcement providing specific times for all home games.
