Watch the Brewers clubhouse celebration after clinching the NLDS
Watch the Brewers clubhouse celebration after clinching the NLDS on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
As Journal Sentinel reporters Todd Rosiak and Curt Hogg prepared to unveil their team and individual grades for the Milwaukee Brewers‘ 2025 season the week of Nov. 9, we asked readers for their assessment of the season.
Rosiak and Hogg gave the Brewers an “A” for a season that ended with a sweep at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series but also included a franchise-record 97 regular-season victories and the first playoff series win since 2018. And let’s not forget the 14-game winning streak that resulted in those free George Webb burgers.
Readers appear to agree that the successes of the season outweighed the disappointing end. Through voting Nov. 9, 82% of respondents (840 of 1,022) gave the Brewers some form of an A.
The Brewers got an A from 386 (38%) of respondents, while 303 (30%) gave the team an A-minus. There were even some who thought the season was worthy of an A-plus (151, 15%).
The rest of the results were:
B-plus: 9.2% (94)B: 3.1% (32)B-minus: 1.9% (19)C-plus: 1.7% (17)C or lower: 2.0% (20)
The remaining Brewers individual grades with analysis will be revealed at jsonline.com/brewers and in the newspaper on Nov. 11, Nov. 12 and Nov. 13. You can read published grades at the links below.
