Don’t let that high level fool you, as Miguel Santos played in just one game at Triple-A (and six in High-A), so he is truly WAY old for Low-A ball. And still, he was an unremarkable player.

Signed as a UDFA out of Dallas Baptist University in 2024, Santos’ five-game audition for Winston-Salem seemed to indicate enough promise for his assignment to Low-A to begin 2025 to be a token one. However, he struggled all season with Kanny and never moved up in any resonant way.

How does Santos appear in our Top 100, then? There’s defensive flexibility (second, third and short), and some speed. And then there’s the matter of his initial introduction to the White Sox, which flashed solid power for his frame. But at 25 for the 2026 season, Santos will need to revert to the solid two-way player the White Sox signed him as a year ago for his career to have any legs.

Expect a return to Kannapolis to begin 2026, unless his sheer age demands an assignment to Winston-Salem.
