After Sunday’s news, more information will be rolling out as the legal process takes it course. Early yesterday, Luis Ortiz was arraigned, plead not guilty, and was released on a $500K bail. Emmanuel Clase will be arraigned at 2PM today.

To keep with the pitching theme of today’s news and notes, Paul Skenes and Tarik Skubal were named the Cy Young Award winners. Skubal became the first AL pitcher to win back-to-back Cy Young Awards since Pedro Martinez won in 1999 and 2000.

Lots of awards will be handed out tonight. José Ramírez is up against Aaron Judge and Cal Raleigh for AL MVP. The All-MLB Teams, Hank Aaron Awards, Comeback Player of the Year Awards, Reliever of the Year Awards, Outstanding Designated Hitter, and Executive of the Year will all be awarded tonight.
