Oregon State baseball announces 2026 schedule
Published 1:39 pm Thursday, November 13, 2025
The Oregon State baseball team unveiled its 2026 schedule on Thursday. The Beavers play 27 regular-season games at Goss Stadium, seven more than last year.
The Beavers are coming off their eighth College World Series berth, punching their ticket to Omaha for the first time under head coach Mitch Canham’s tenure. They finished the year with a 48-16-1 record and hosted a regional and a super regional. The Beavers, behind an otherworldly performance from infielder Trent Caraway, rallied to win four-straight games at the Corvallis Regional.
In the Corvallis Super Regional, Oregon State traded a win and a loss with Florida State in games one and two. A 13-run barrage in the first three innings of game three punched the Beavers’ ticket back to the College World Series in Omaha. It was Oregon State’s first time back since winning the 2018 national championship.
This offseason, Oregon State overhauled its roster. Players like outfielder Gavin Turley and catcher Wilson Weber heard their names called in the 2025 MLB Draft. Others, such as Caraway, now an LSU Tiger, entered the transfer portal to pursue new opportunities. Oregon State did retain its three-headed starting pitching rotation, with freshman all-American Dax Whitney, left-hander Ethan Kleinschmit and junior righty Eric Segura returning for 2026.
The Beavers’ 2026 slate features six home series, including a month-long home stand at Goss from April 10 until May 3. Oregon State plays rival twice — once in Eugene on March 3 and once at Goss on April 22. A March 31 game against the Washington Huskies at Goss is the only other time the Beavers play a power-four opponent at home after March.
Oregon State’s season gets underway in Surprise, Arizona, on Friday, Feb. 13 against the Michigan Wolverines. The Beavers’ home slate begins Friday, March 6 against Xavier.
