MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WKOW) — For the second year in a row, Milwaukee Brewers President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Matt Arnold has been named the MLB Executive of the Year.
Arnold is the first executive to receive the honor twice, according to the Brewers. The award was introduced in 2018.
The 46-year-old joined the organization as vice president and assistant general manager in October of 2015. He was named the team’s general manager in November of 2020, and began leading baseball operations in October of 2022. Arnold was promoted to his current position in October of 2025.
Arnold made a number of moves that helped the Brewers win the National League Central division in 2025, including trading for infielder Caleb Durbin, first baseman Andrew Vaughn, and pitcher Quinn Priester, and signing pitcher José Quintana.
