PUNXSUTAWNEY — The Punxsutawney Chucks Baseball team’s Nevin Day recently signed a declaration of intent to play collegiate baseball at Gannon University, a Division 2 school.
As a Golden Knight, Day plans to major in Sports Business while playing baseball.
“It’s been fun and I’ve had a great couple of years,” said Day about his time on the Chucks Baseball team, where he was part of the team that made it to the PIAA State Semi-finals twice, while also making the All-State Team once. “I always wondered where I was going to end up, and it feels good to finally to know where I’m going and feeling content with my decision.”
