LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A man has been arrested for hitting another man in the head with a baseball bat, arrest records say.
Willie Baldon, 62, was arrested Sunday night and charged with assault.
In an arrest report, Baldon allegedly hit another man in the head with a baseball bat after an argument in the parking lot of a convenience store on West Market Street. The report said that, after the argument, both men entered the store and Baldon went behind the checkout counter to grab the bat.
LMPD said that Baldon walked back over to the man at the entrance of the store and hit him in the head with the bat. The man was taken to UofL Hospital with a severe laceration to the head and a possible internal head injury.
Baldon will be in court Monday morning.
