2025 Milwaukee Brewers player grades
Here are our Milwaukee Brewers player grades for 2025, based on analysis by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Brewers beat writers Todd Rosiak and Curt Hogg.
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Quinn Priester had his best season as a professional in 2025.
The year is ending on a high note, personally, as well for Priester.
Priester married his longtime girlfriend Regan Dineen on Saturday, Nob. 15, in a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony in Jupiter, Florida.
The two tied the knot at the White Trail Club, a scenic, family owned flower farm.
Their wedding planner, Hand Picked Events, chronicled the day in a social media post on Instagram, showcasing everything from the ceremony to the dancing to the happy couple cutting the cake and much more. The wedding planner wrote on social media: “They may be off season for baseball, but in season as Newlyweds!”

The wedding came about 11 months after Priester proposed to Dineen back home in Chicago near where they both grew up while they were surrounded by holiday lights.
Quinn Priester and Regan Dineen star high school athletes in Illinois
Priester, 25, and Dineen, 24, grew up in McHenry County: Priester in Cary and Dineen in Woodstock.
And both were successful athletes in their high school Class of 2019. Not only was Priester a baseball star at Cary-Grove High School, earning Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year his senior year, but he also was a key member of the state championship football team.
While Priester was making a name for himself on the mound and catching the eye of baseball scouts, Dineen was setting a school record on the track. She holds the long jump record at Marian Central Catholic High School and was also part of state relay teams. Dineen competed on the Kansas State University track and field team and graduated in 2023.
She has been by Priester’s side during his baseball journey.
Quinn Priester stats, baseball career
The right-handed pitcher began his professional career with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization after the Brewers’ NL Central rivals selected him in the first round in 2019.
Priester made his MLB debut in July 2023 with the Pirates.
He pitched in 10 games the rest of that season.
Priester again began the 2024 season in Triple-A before being called up in April. He would pitch in 10 games before he was traded to the Boston Red Sox in July 2024. He didn’t pitch for the Red Sox until the regular-season finale.
Priester found a new home in 2025 with the Brewers. And it was a great match for player and team.
Quinn Priester traded to the Brewers
The Brewers acquired Priester early in the season from the Red Sox when they needed pitching depth due to injuries. Priester not only filled that role but he soon would become one of the staff’s most dependable pitchers.
From his final start in May to Sept. 18, the Brewers won every game Priester took the mound. That’s 19 games the Brewers went home with a victory when he started. Priester finished the season 13-3 with a 3.32 ERA and 1.24 WHIP in 29 games and 24 starts. He was second in innings pitched, quality starts and wins behind team ace Freddy Peralta.
Quinn Priester in playoffs with Brewers
He made two appearances in the playoffs, including one in front of his family and friends in Game 3 of the NL Division Series against the Chicago Cubs.
While he was roughed up in the outing to the tune of four runs in just two-thirds of an inning, he bounced back in his next appearance in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series. He pitched four innings of shutout ball against the Los Angeles Dodgers across the second to fifth innings.
