It’s been quite the year for Toronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Braydon Fisher.

The 25-year-old was acquired by the Blue Jays in a trade that saw Cavan Biggio head to the LA Dodgers partway through the 2024 season. At that time, he hadn’t yet pitched at the MLB level.

However, that changed this past season, as Fisher was selected to the Blue Jays’ 40-man roster in early May. He wound up pitching 50 innings for the Jays, posting an impressive 2.70 ERA along with 62 strikeouts. He was also entrusted with pitching seven innings during the playoffs.

The great year for Fisher was extended into the offseason, as the right-hander tied the knot last week with his fiancée, Brianna Ririe, at The Luminaire in Montgomery, Texas. The Jays reliever announced the exciting news on Instagram over the weekend.

“Married my best friend last night!” Fisher wrote. “11.13.2025 [to] eternity. Beyond grateful for all of our family and friends that showed up and showed out to celebrate our special moment!”

Several members from the Blue Jays organization congratulated Fisher, including Paxton Schultz, who pitched 24.2 innings with the club in 2025.

“Congrats, Fish! Best year of your life!” Schultz wrote.

Meanwhile, Brianna also posted about the big day and included several stunning photos from the reception.

“I’m officially a Fish!” she wrote.

The wedding came less than a year after Fisher announced the couple’s engagement.

The newlyweds are high school sweethearts, having started dating all the way back in November 2017.

The Blue Jays are looking at potential free agents to bolster their bullpen in 2026, though Fisher is expected to remain thanks to his impressive breakout season. He may even be entrusted with a bigger role, should he have similar results moving forward.
