One of the most anticipated days of the offseason is here for Guardians fans. For a team that spends very little money and makes very little trades, this rule 5 roster deadline is one of the few things we have to look forward to in the offseason, because the Guardians are forced to make some roster moves.
I fully expect to see SS Angel Genao, and OF Kahlil Watson added to the 40 man roster, with RHP Austin Peterson also being a likely addition. Some other guys to keep an eye on are RHP Yorman Gomez, and OF Wuilfredo Antunez.

Today also may be a day that the Guardians make a trade, as they have made trades in the past on Rule 5 protection day. I know you all remember the Nolan Jones for Juan Brito trade back in 2022.
One more thing worthy to note, Gabriel Arias and Jhonkensy Noel were both removed from their winter ball rosters on Monday. It could mean something, or it could mean nothing, we will see.
