The ceremony reportedly took place in Montgomery, Tex., roughly 100 km north of Fisher’s hometown of League City, Tex.

The 25-year-old Fisher isn’t much of a social-media butterfly, but did take to Instagram last December to announce his engagement to Ririe.

“She said YES!!! God blessed me extra this time! Forever with you couldn’t be more perfect! I love you babe!” Fisher posted on Instagram with three photos of the heartwarming scene of the pitcher getting down on bended knee at a vineyard.

Several of Fisher’s teammates liked the post and offered their congratulations.

“Congrats bro!!” outfielder Myles Straw commented.

“Congrats Fish!! Best year of your life!” wrote fellow pitcher Paxton Schultz, who made 13 appearances with the team this season, spending most of the year in the minors.

How was Fisher’s season?

Fisher was a key member of the Blue Jays bullpen through the regular season and during the team’s run to within one game of winning the World Series.

During the season, Fisher appeared in 52 games, pitching 50 innings, notching an impressive 7-0 record with a tidy ERA of 2.70. He struck out 62 batter while giving up 32 hits and 19 walks.

His performance earned him a fourth-place vote in American League rookie of the year balloting.

The righty made three appearances in the World Series, pitching in Games 1, 2 and 3. He gave up just two hits – though one was a two-run homer in the Jays’ Game 1 blowout win – and struck out four Dodgers in 3.1 innings.

He figures again to be a key piece in the Blue Jays bullpen going into the 2026 season.
