Two-time All-Star pitcher Brandon Woodruff is returning to the Milwaukee Brewers for another season after accepting a qualifying offer on Nov. 18.Woodruff is one of four players who accepted qualifying offers from their former teams before the Tuesday deadline, thereby removing themselves from the free-agent market. The players include Chicago Cubs left-hander Shota Imanaga, New York Yankees outfielder Trent Grisham, and Detroit second baseman Gleyber Torres, who accepted $22,025,000 qualifying offers from their former teams. The 32-year-old had an impressive comeback campaign in 2025 after missing nearly two years of action because of right shoulder surgery.
