Milwaukee, WI–Brandon Woodruff will be returning to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2026 after accepting the club’s $22.025 million, one-year qualifying offer.
Woodruff chose free agency last month, declining his mutual option worth $20 million and taking a $10 million buyout.
He’s made just 12 starts over the past two seasons, missing all of 2024 and the first half of ‘25 while recovering from right shoulder surgery.
He missed the end of the season after injuring his lat muscle in his right shoulder in September.
Woodruff will be the first Brewers pitcher to make more than $20 million in one season.
In his eight seasons in Milwaukee, Woodruff is 53-28 with a 3.10 ERA and made two All-Star teams.
