MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Brewers RHP Brandon Woodruff accepted a one-year $22 million qualifying offer on Tuesday to return to the franchise.

Woodruff after missing the entire 2024 season due to shoulder surgery, rebounded with a 7-2 record with a 3.20 ERA, and 83 strikeouts in 12 games pitched last season.

Injury concerns remain an issue for Woodruff as he missed the entire postseason due to a lat strain.

The re-signing of Woodruff will provide much needed depth for Milwaukee, as the future of ace Freddy Peralta remains unknown.
