MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff has accepted the Brewers’ qualifying offer, and is set to return to Milwaukee in 2026 on a one-year, $22.025 million deal, according to reports from ESPN’s Jeff Passan and MLB.com.
The Brewers organization as not confirmed this news.
Throughout the 2025 season in his 12 starts, the right-handed pitcher posted a 3.20 ERA, alongside 83 strikeouts and 14 walks. This comes following a season-long absence in 2024 with a right-shoulder injury, requiring surgery.
Woodruff missed the Brewers’ 2025 postseason due to a lat strain, however once healthy, the pitcher’s return will prove crucial to the Milwaukee starting lineup.
