CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The Cincinnati Reds avoided arbitration with left-hander Sam Moll, agreeing to a one-year, $875,000 contract with incentives, according to a report by Jon Heyman of the New York Post.
Moll split the 2025 season between Cincinnati and Triple-A Louisville, going 1-0 with a 6.38 ERA in 23 major league appearances. MLB Trade Rumors had projected him to earn $1.2 million in arbitration.
For his career, Moll is 8-6 with a 3.73 ERA and one save in 213 games, covering 178 2/3 innings.
The Reds also non-tendered catcher Will Banfield and right-handers Roddery Muñoz and Carson Spiers.
