The Cincinnati Reds and left-hander Sam Moll finalized an $875,000 one-year contract that avoided arbitration and assured Moll would avoid being non-tendered at the Nov. 21 deadline for clubs to commit 2026 contracts to players on the roster who are not yet under contract.

Moll, 33, had a 6.38 ERA in 23 relief appearances for the Reds in 2025.
The lefty acquired in a trade-deadline deal from Oakland during the 2023 season, can earn up to $150,000 more through $50,000 bonuses for making 45, 55 and 65 appearances. He also has a $25,000 bonus in the contract for making the All-Star roster.

Moll was one of 12 arbitration-eligible players on the Reds roster. All have been “tendered” contracts, meaning the club retains their rights as they negotiate contracts through the arbitration process.
