The Twins seemingly had one challenging decision to make by Friday’s 4 p.m. tender deadline for arbitration-eligible players. It involved outfielder Trevor Larnach, Well, a source tells KSTP Sports that the Twins have tendered their former 1st round pick a contract for 2026.
His exact 2026 salary will come to fruition in the winter. MLB Trade Rumors projects a $4.7M salary.
Larnach had career-high numbers in home runs (17), RBIs (60), doubles (24), hits (126), and games played (142) in 2025, but questions remain about his ability to hit left-handed pitching.
He made his MLB debut in 2021, having now played in parts of five seasons.
The Twins drafted Larnarch 20th-overall in 2018.
The Twins also tendered 2026 contracts to Royce Lewis, Ryan Jeffers, Alex Jackson, Cole Sands, Joe Ryan and Bailey Ober.
