Andrew Painter, Aidan Miller, Justin Crawford and Gage Wood are probably all as close to untouchable as prospects can get being as how they all look possible to debut in 2026. That means there are a number of other prospects that could fetch something in a trade.
Which prospect would probably be the lead choice in a deal? The team is already getting skewered for its lack of depth, so maybe a “lead piece” doesn’t exist unless we’re talking about a player that is more of a role player than anything else.
