The Toronto Blue Jays are entering the offseason fresh off a heartbreaking Game 7 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series. Even so, 2025 marked a major step forward for the franchise, and they are expected to be aggressive in retooling the roster after a deep postseason run.

Offensively, the club is likely to pursue upgrades, including the possibility of retaining infielder Bo Bichette, but the pitching staff remains the biggest area of need.

Last season, Toronto’s staff posted a 4.19 ERA, ranking 19th among all MLB teams. Remarkably, the Blue Jays still finished with the best record in the American League at 94-68, capturing the AL East division crown and securing the top seed in the league.
