Dylan Cease has a new home.
The veteran right-hander signed a seven-year, $210 million contract with the Blue Jays on Wednesday, according to The Post’s Jon Heyman.
The deal makes Cease, who turns 30 next month, the first major MLB free agent off the board this offseason.

Cease is coming off a so-so 2025 season, but has shown flashes in the past of being one of the top starting pitchers in the sport.
In 32 starts, Cease posted a 4.55 ERA, although he struck out an MLB-best 11.5 batters per nine innings.
Before the July trade deadline, the Padres reportedly shopped the pending free agent around, but opted to hang onto him for the stretch run.
Cease has twice finished in the top-five in the Cy Young voting, including a dominant 2022 season during which he posted a 2.20 ERA in Chicago for the White Sox.

He’s long been one of the top strikeout artists in the sport, punching out 1,231 since his debut in 2019, which is the fourth-most in baseball over that stretch.
In seven big league seasons, Cease has gone 65-58 with a 3.88 ERA and in 1,015 1/3 innings.
The move bolsters a Toronto starting rotation that’s coming off a World Series run.
He joins Kevin Gausman, Trey Yesavage and Shane Bieber in what now looks like one of the best rotations in the American League.
The Cease addition likely spells the departure of starters Chris Bassitt and Max Scherzer, who are both also free agents this winter.
