MANHEIM – Last weekend, the new Clinton County Legends 8U travel baseball team travelled to Manheim to compete in the Spooky Nook 8U Dome Tournament. And in their first ever tournament, they more than succeeded, claiming gold on Saturday to kick their time as a team off on a high note.

The team officially formed over the summer, with its roster announced on Aug. 9 and it registering for the tournament a few weeks later. The Legends coached and trained by Smokey Stover here in Clinton County, and he’s assisted by Steve Kisko, Tyler Koser and Dave Walker.

Following the tournament title, the team is set to participate in the Haven Holidays Parade in downtown Lock Haven this Saturday. The parade is set to begin at 6 p.m. on Main Street.
