As the Los Angeles Dodgers enter the MLB offseason, the front office has a plan of attack to make sure the team is set up to contend once again next year. Los Angeles is coming off winning a second straight World Series title, and now all eyes are set on going after a three-peat in 2026.
While there aren’t many holes across the Dodgers’ roster, the team does have some areas of concern that need to be addressed. One of which is the bullpen, which allowed the team to do so throughout the majority of the regular season.
Somehow, when the playoffs came around, the Dodgers’ relief pitchers seemed to get it together, and it helped Los Angeles go back-to-back. But the front office likely won’t allow this to happen again, and addressing this need over the offseason will be a big part of everything.
The Dodgers could also target another starting pitcher, even if the need for one isn’t really there. As Los Angeles has seen over the years, they can never have too many pitchers on the roster, considering how easy it is for them to get injured.
Los Angeles likely won’t break the bank to land a starter, but if they could add a veteran to help eat innings during the regular season, the pairing could make some sense. But the Dodgers have been very selective in who they add, so it remains to be seen how the offseason will go down for them.
This is just a prediction, NOT a report!

Seranthony Dominguez Signs With Los Angeles Dodgers
One name that Los Angeles could bring in to help fill some role as a depth piece is veteran right-hander Seranthony Dominguez. Dominguez split time between the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays this past season, showing some strong performances on the mound.
Overall, he posted an ERA of 3.18 over 67 games played, while also putting up two saves in the process. Dominguez isn’t a shutdown reliever, but he could be the perfect piece to add to this relief group.
Los Angeles struggled to find any sort of consistency from the bullpen this past season, and Dominguez was the pillar of that for the year. If anything, he could offer them some depth for the bullpen, and it could make manager Dave Roberts’ life a little easier.
Dominguez has posted an ERA of just 4.00 in four straight years, showing the ability that he has on the mound. If the team were to add Dominguez, they could still go out to add another piece as well, making this a potentially strong signing all around.
