ACKERMAN – Among the leaders in that clubhouse is junior left-handed pitcher Jordan Gaskin. A sophomore starter a season ago, Gaskin continues to lead the charge and coach Blake Hutchison turned to him for game two of the third round against rival Choctaw County.
Behind Gaskin’s left arm and his first career home run at the plate, the Wolverines dominated on Monday night. A 7-0 victory was an emphatic way to head to the North State title.
