As the Winter Meetings are just days away, the closer market in free agency continues to be red hot. The Mets signed former Brewers and Yankees closer Devin Williams to a 3 year deal on Monday. So the three NL East Powers now have Jhoan Duran, Rasiel Iglesias, and Williams as their closers. It will be interesting to see what this means for Edwin Diax, who many feel will get the biggest contact of any reliever. It certainly seems that with many relievers currently signing deals, NL East bullpens could like quite different next season.
