Tampa Bay Rays Pop-Up Store Opens on First Avenue South
While Tropicana Field undergoes renovations, the new Rays pop-up store located in the former Dr. BBQ building is keeping team spirit alive ahead of the team’s return in April. Season ticket holders receive 20% off select merchandise and free parking is available in Lot 6 at Tropicana Field.

Fresh Finds in the Bay
St. Pete is getting its fourth Aldi location, taking over half of the former Winn-Dixie building at 3327 9th St. N. Meanwhile, Publix has returned to the West River district after several decades, ending the neighborhood’s status as a food desert—an area where access to affordable, high-quality fresh food is limited. The 31,485-square-foot Publix is located at the corner of North Boulevard and West Main Street. The Wee British Shop, a specialty U.K.-centered grocery store with a range of imported teas, crisps, biscuits and pantry staples, has opened its doors in St. Pete at 3705 5th Ave. N.

Savory St. Pete Additions
Luma, an elevated Mediterranean waterfront restaurant at SkyBeach Resort, is opening this December, offering coastal flavors and locally inspired ingredients. After a two-year hiatus, The Oyster Bar has returned to Central Avenue in the Grand Central District, with a 3,200-square-foot space that seats 120 guests, including 22 outdoors and 18 at the bar. Noble Tavern, a concept from the team behind Noble Crust and Fat Beet Farm Kitchen & Bakery, has opened on the ground floor of the Tru by Hilton hotel on Central Avenue.

A Cozy Bookstore Debuts in St. Pete
The Book Lounge, a mother-daughter business in a 1,500-square-foot space on Central Avenue, is now open. In addition to a wide selection of fiction, the shop offers build-your-own charcuterie boards, frosé, board games and Hogg Batch Coffee. Future plans include book-themed craft nights and author events.
