Ron Washington Reportedly Signs A’s Contract as Infield Coach, Won 2021 World Series

Following his stint as manager of the Los Angeles Angels, Ron Washington is returning to his roots.

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, Washington is finalizing a deal to join the Athletics as their major league infield coach. The 2021 World Series champion began his coaching career with the A’s as their first base coach in 1996.
