For the first time since 2019 – and the first wintertime event since 2017 – the Mariners are reinstating Fan Fest, a long-time fan favorite and highlight of the off-season. The two-day event will take place January 31st and February 1st and will feature player meet-and-greets, the opportunity to tour normally off-limits areas like the clubhouse and interview room, and a chance to play catch on a professional baseball field, among other things.
The last full-scale Mariners Fan Fest happened in winter of 2017. In 2018, the event was postponed due to the field being replaced, and in 2019 the wintertime event was replaced by a scaled-down pre-season event in late March after the team returned from Japan. The COVID-19 pandemic caused the cancellation of the event for the next two years, and in subsequent winters, the Enchant event took up residence in T-Mobile Park. But now, with the help of corporate partner Starbucks, FanFest is back for 2026, marking the cornerstone of a build towards a season-long celebration of 50 seasons of Mariners baseball.
If you’ve never been, Fan Fest offers a unique opportunity to connect with all the different layers of Mariners baseball, from legends of the past to current players to future stars. For fans who can’t make it down to spring training, it’s a rare chance to connect with players outside of the regular season. And for diehard Mariners fans, young and old alike, it’s thrilling to have access to parts of the ballpark that are inaccessible most of the time. Only at Fan Fest can you step up to home plate and re-enact Cal’s drought-buster, warm up in the bullpen like you’re Muñoz about to enter for the save, sit on the dugout bench and imagine you’re Logan strategizing pitch sequencing between innings, zip through the outfield like you’re Julio measuring up a catch, pretend to be Naylor on the bases psyching out a pitcher, and stand in the clubhouse and revisit the champagne-soaked celebrations, all in one afternoon.
But of course the real highlight of Fan Fest is the opportunity to meet players. So far the Mariners have announced George Kirby, Julio RodrÃguez, and the newest long-term Mariner Josh Naylor will be in attendance. Cal Raleigh will also be in attendance at Saturday’s event only.
For prospects, the Mariners have announced Colt Emerson, Jurrangelo Cijntje, and 2025 first-rounder Kade Anderson so far. Guests are subject to change, and more names will be added as they are confirmed. We will update this story as we have more information.
In addition to photo and autograph opportunities, as well as Q&A sessions with players in attendance, other activities at Fan Fest will include:
Season ticket members will have priority access for two hours on the first day of Fan Fest (Saturday), so if you’ve been debating about a STM for a holiday gift, maybe that’s the encouragement you need. The schedule for both days:
