Thirty-six-year-old Dodgers utility infielder and 2025 World Series hero Miguel Rojas will be back in the World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers dugout for at least the 2026 season. On Thursday afternoon it was being widely reported that the extremely popular Los Teques, Venezuela native had agreed to a one-year / $5.5 million contract for 2026 and will help in player development in the Dodgers front office in 2027. The veteran infielder added that he expects 2026 to be his final season between the lines.

“Thank you for bringing me back home,” ever-humble Rojas told team officials.

Rojas’ dramatic top-of-the-ninth game-tying solo home run in Game-7 of the 2025 Fall Classic
sparked the Dodgers offense in their eventual 11-inning 5-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays
to become back-to-back World Series Champions. (MLB)

It also gave retiring future first-ballot Hall of Fame left-hander Clayton Kershaw the Game-7
win and his second consecutive (and third) World Series ring. (MLB)

Welcome back, Miggy Ro!
