Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper revealed in an Instagram video that he underwent an EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) procedure, which he explained to fans.
Harper said the process will “improve circulation, reduce inflammation, fight infections, support immune function, remove toxins and increase energy.”
“My guy Dr. Josh Redd is a magician,” Harper added. “Had a great week of wellness starting with this awesome machine. More videos to come of other things as well.”
The 33-year-old Harper has played 14 MLB seasons (seven apiece with the Washington Nationals and Phillies). He’s a two-time National League MVP, eight-time All-Star and four-time Silver Slugger.
Last year, Harper hit .261 (.844 OPS) with 27 home runs and 75 RBI. He helped lead the Phillies to their second straight NL East title and fourth consecutive playoff appearance.
