He is entering the final season of his six-year, $150 million contract with Toronto in 2026. Before that, he shared an off-field development with his fans on social media.

On Saturday, Springer posted a heartwarming partnership on his Instagram with Jack Astor’s Bar & Grill and Make-A-Wish Canada.

“There are 3,700 kids across Canada still waiting for their wish to be granted,” he wrote. “This season, I’m teaming up with @jack_astors to help make more of them come true. Get to Jack Astor’s and order from Santa’s Secret menu, round up your bill, or buy a @makeawish_canada star to support the Tree of Wishes. Every bit helps bring hope to families who need it.”

He said that spending time with the girl he met, Delfina, was incredible, as her love for baseball meant so much.

Springer is no stranger to helping those in the community, as he is a spokesperson for SAY (The Stuttering Association for the Young), which focuses on empowering, educating and supporting children who stutter.

While his play on the field throughout his career has been fantastic, the impact he makes off of it is just as important.
