The Binghamton Rumble Ponies will have a new manager in 2026.
Reid Brignac is leaving Binghamton to join the Tampa Bay Rays organization. Marc Tompkin, a writer for the Tampa Bay Times, is reporting that Brignac will be a coach for the Triple-A Durham Bulls. Brignac spent parts of five seasons playing for the Rays.

Brignac managed the Rumble Ponies for four seasons, leading Binghamton to the Eastern League Championship in 2025. He won 286 regular-season games for the Mets’ Double-A team.
Aside from 2025’s championship season, Brignac also led Binghamton to the Eastern League Championship Series in 2023.
