Marte and Perdomo, two pillars of the Diamondbacks’ clubhouse, joined a stacked group of MLB talent to support Guerrero’s fundraiser, which benefits children in Latin America and the United States through La Gente del Barrio and VG27, Guerrero’s foundation.
Other stars who took part included José Ramírez, Juan Soto, Julio Rodríguez, Randy Arozarena and Teoscar Hernández.
The event featured a softball game and a home run derby, where the D-backs All-Stars showcased not only their skill but their support for the cause.

Marte and Perdomo have consistently given back to communities across the Dominican Republic, the Valley and other parts of the country. Saturday’s mix of lighthearted competition and serious purpose reflected the approach both players take to community involvement.
The duo participated in the derby, with Marte advancing to the second round. Perdomo didn’t advance, but the pair delivered a spectacle for fans.

The event also raised an interesting question: Was this a preview of the World Baseball Classic? With many participants hailing from the Dominican Republic, including Marte and Perdomo, it’s fair to say a future roster could look similarly stacked.
With two of the Diamondbacks’ top talents putting on a show and supporting a meaningful cause, the event highlighted how committed the team’s players are to helping their communities.
