BINGHAMTON, NY (WBNG) — The 2025 Eastern League Manager of the Year, Reid Brignac is leaving the Rumble Ponies to continue coaching for the Tampa Bay Rays organization.
The Rumble Ponies announced on Sunday that Brignac will be leaving the Mets organization to coach for the Rays’ Triple-A affiliate, Durham Bulls.
Brignac was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the second round back in 2004 and played five seasons for the Rays from 2008 to 2012.
Brignac has been the manager for the Rumble Ponies for four seasons and led Binghamton to its first Eastern League Championship win since 2014.
