Yesterday, Stephen Vogt made the rounds in interviews at the Winter Meetings:

If you go here to 2 hours, 24 minutes, you can view another Vogt interview:

The main things to note – aside from the front office’s already public stance that they need hitting help, Vogt was honest about their need for more arms in the bullpen.

He spoke hopefully about Chase DeLauter and Travis Bazzana being able to impact the team, DeLauter from the beginning of the season.

He spoke of Gabriel Arias as more of a utility/swingman than the established starter at short.

Paul Hoynes was awarded the Platinum Pen award, meaning he will be listed among other past award winners in Baseball’s Hall of Fame.

The Phillies and slugger Kyle Schwarber just reached a 5-year deal worth $150 million.

The Dodgers and closer Edwin Diaz are in agreement on a deal:

Spicy rumors that probably mean nothing: The Red Sox and Diamondbacks are exchanging names on a Ketel Marte trade.
