Cody Bellinger had a great season for the New York Yankees this year, but he is a free agent now. His agent, Scott Boras, revealed which teams are showing interest in him by subtly dropping team names into a statement on him.

“It’s not for me to judge,” Boras said in a clip posted on X by SNY. “Great players see red. If they have a big bat yanked out of their lineup. I haven’t met a team that dodges a five-tool player to fill the center field need is a giant step toward the playoffs. North and South. Outfielders that fly with power, they’re rare birds. There’s a lot of angel investors that are looking for versatile outfielders. Other than that, Belli doesn’t have much interest.”

Boras is known for speaking in puns, and judging by his latest comments, the Yankees, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Angels, Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Phillies have shown interest in Bellinger.

Boras’ comments came as the Phillies’ deal with Schwarber was reported, so perhaps their interest has faded. However, there is still significant interest in the former MVP.

The Yankees have been vocal about how much they like Bellinger and may be willing to outbid all the suitors to keep him in the Bronx. However, he will not be cheap. Bellinger has also noted his desire to stay with the Yankees, but he is not expected to take a discount to stay.
