LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – The Detroit Tigers have agreed to a two-year contract with free agent closer Kyle Finnegan, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports.
The deal is reportedly for two years and $19 million.
Detroit acquired Finnegan, 34, from the Washington Nationals at the trade deadline. He appeared in 16 games, posting a 1.50 ERA and 0.72 WHIP with four saves. Finnegan has 112 career saves, 108 of which came with the Nationals.
