Home Run Dugout is a soft-toss batting cage that offers a casual experience for fans to feel the thrill of connecting a bat to a ball.

The idea is modeled after TopGolf, the family-friendly alternative to golf that offers ball tracking and mini-games, all while allowing multiple players to enjoy together.

There are plans to build locations in Atlanta, San Antonio, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Boston.

“At my core, I’ve always believed baseball should be for everyone. That’s what drives me with the 50/50 Foundation, giving every kid the same chance to fall in love with the game, no matter where they come from,” Betts said in a statement.

“Home Run Dugout shares that same mission. They’re using incredibly unique technology and creativity to make baseball more fun, more social, and more accessible.”

Company co-founder and president Tyler Bambrick highlighted that Betts’ joy for baseball and the fun he has on the field make him a logical partner for the company.

“The guy is one of the most impressive people you can watch, and it’s just cool to surround ourselves with some of the best people out there,” Bambrick said.

Betts is currently enjoying some well-deserved time off before jumping back into the baseball field and chasing a third consecutive World Series title.
