The Texas Rangers added another arm to the pitching staff on Monday.
A person familiar with the move confirmed to The Dallas Morning News the Rangers have signed relief pitcher Anthony Veneziano to a minor league contract with an invite to major league camp.
The 28-year-old left-hander has 40 career appearances over the past three seasons with Kansas City, Miami and St. Louis.
In 26 games last season (one start), Veneziano compiled a 4.68 ERA in 25 innings pitched.
Rangers
Veneziano briefly overlapped with new Rangers manager Skip Schumaker in Miami after being claimed off waivers from Kansas City near the end of the 2024 season.
