GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville Drive announced the passing of Frank White who was the oldest living former Greenville Black Spinners baseball player.
The organization made the announcement on social media on Wednesday morning.

“We were honored to recognize Mr. White and his family during our inaugural Black Spinners Celebration Game at Fluor Field on June 10th, 2022.” the organization said.
According to officials, White was also a member of the Kansas City Monarchs of the Negro Professional League.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. White’s family and friends.”
