The Texas Rangers revealed their team award winners for the 2025 season on Thursday.
Seven players earned awards this year, with Wyatt Langford, Jacob deGrom and Nathan Eovaldi leading the list. The recipients were selected by the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America.
Langford was honored as the team’s Player of the Year. He led the Rangers with 22 home runs, 74 walks and 22 stolen bases. He became the first Ranger to earn the award in an age-23-or-younger season since 1995. Iván “Pudge” Rodríguez accomplished the feat in the ‘95 season when he was 23.
Meanwhile, deGrom and Eovaldi were named Co-Pitchers of the Year. This wasn’t the first award deGrom earned after posting a 2.97 ERA in 2025. Back in October, deGrom was named AL Comeback Player of the Year.
