CINCINNATI (WXIX) – NASCAR great Greg Biffle, who died in a plane crash Thursday, threw out the first pitch for a Cincinnati Reds game last season.
Biffle was in Cincinnati on May 17 to help promote the Speedway Classic featuring the Reds and Atlanta Braves.

Biffle posted photos on Facebook of himself with some Reds players, thanking the Cincinnati franchise for its hospitality.
Biffle‘s storied career earned him the honor of being named one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers.
During his 14 full seasons in the Cup Series, Biffle took the checkered flag 19 times. He finished the 2005 season in second place.
The Vancouver, Washington, native was a nominee for the 2026 NASCAR Hall of Fame.
Biffle would have turned 56 years old on Dec. 23.
