HOOVER, Ala. − Tennessee baseball is rolling into the SEC Tournament semifinals after an extra-innings win against top-seeded Texas.

Gavin Kilen blasted a double to right center to score two in the top of the 12th for the two game-winning runs as the No. 8 Vols won 7-5 on May 22.

UT took a 5-4 lead in the 10th inning on a Kilen homer, but promptly gave the lead back in the bottom of the inning on a single, error and another single. Nate Snead pitched around trouble in the 10th and 11th innings.

The Vols beat Alabama 15-10 in a complete offensive performance in their opening game. They had 20 hits, their most in an SEC game this season. They scored 10 straight runs after falling behind 6-5. They were 6-for-11 with two outs, 14-for-29 with runners on and 9-for-20 with runners in scoring position against Alabama.

All nine Tennessee starters had a hit, while eight had at least two hits and three had three hits. The bottom third of the order was 8-for-13 with five RBIs and two doubles.
