The 2026 Chicago Cubs convention will feature a 2016 World Series reunion

Â
The Cubs’ 2016 World Series run remains one of the most iconic moments in franchise history, ending a 108-year championship drought and delivering a title that generations of fans had waited a lifetime to see. This moment was capped off by a comeback in an unforgettable Game 7 in Cleveland, that forever changed the identity of the organization and is cemented in the core of Chicago sports fans memories.
That 2016 roster was built on a rare blend of young stars, veteran leadership, and dominant pitching. Led by MVP Kris Bryant, along with Anthony Rizzo, Javier Báez, Jon Lester, Kyle Hendricks, and a deep bullpen, the Cubs combined talent and resilience to overcome every challenge thrown their way. Their chemistry and confidence defined the season and turned a championship dream into reality.
Over the three-day convention, fans will not only get to reminisce about the 2016 World Series run, but they will also have the opportunity for autograph sessions, session conversations, Cubs Authentics auctions and memorabilia, player meet-and-greets, Cubs Bingo, and more.
