Trade news: The A’s are acquiring second baseman Jeff McNeil from the New York Mets, sources tell ESPN.

Fantasy Impact:
The Mets will reportedly receive a young pitcher from the lower levels of the A’s system in return for McNeil. The Mets are also sending cash to help cover the rest of McNeil’s contract. The versatile veteran, who has spent his entire eight-year career to this point with the Mets, posted a .746 OPS with a dozen homers across 122 games in 2025.
